Spring has sprung! As we all prepare for another field season, your Association of Professional Archaeologists of New Brunswick – Association des archéologues professionnels du Nouveau-Brunswick (APANB-AAPNB) are contacting you with a couple of announcements and the date of our upcoming Annual General Business Meeting in Fredericton, New Brunswick on Friday April 29 and Saturday April 30th, 2016. This meeting will be held at the New Brunswick Provincial Archives on the University of New Brunswick – Fredericton campus (see attached agenda for details).
Announcement – Membership Renewal 2016-2017
As fiscal year-end has passed, we ask that you renew your membership (or recruit anyone new!) for the 2016–2017 year. Fees have stayed the same; and, we have added an e-transfer payment option! Please see the DOCUMENTS page for a new form-fillable PDF.
Spring 2016 Annual General Business Meeting
Our Spring 2016 meeting will be the Association’s first two-day session, and we are looking to garner a regional audience alongside our Membership. With the CAAs being held in Whitehorse this year, it may be an opportunity for colleagues and professionals in the Maritime Peninsula to gather and discuss our practice before another busy field and research season. As such, we have arranged for an exciting and busy two-day session.
A draft Agenda for the two days is attached, and alongside regulatory presentations, we will be holding a roundtable discussion about the various projects our Membership are currently working on (feel free to bring something prepared, or just be prepared to talk!). Saturday morning will be a private session for the Association Membership; however, Saturday afternoon will be a public session with multiple presentations from archaeologists in the Maine/Maritimes region.
Please feel free to contact the Association (email@example.com) with any questions you may have or requests for additional details.
As we will be providing refreshments, we ask that you kindly RSVP whether you will or will not be able to attend by email (please include RSVP in the subject line) by April 21, 2016.
